Tharindu tops O/L rankings

Tharindu Nirmal of Nalanda College, Colombo topped the island rankings at the GCE O/L examinations held last year while Sandini Nawanjana of Holy Cross College, Gampaha clinched the second place, the Education Department announced today. (LSP)

Following are the rankings of the top 10

1. Tharindu Nirmal - Nalanda College, Colombo

2. Sandini Nawanjana - Holy Cross College, Gampaha

3. Amashi Nivarthana - Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo

3. Hansapani Abeysinghe - Mahamaya College, Kandy

3. A. Nuwani Nethsarani - Ratnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha

4. Devni Ruwanka Hemasinghe - Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo

5. D. Uththara Rajapaksha – Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo

6. R. Lasath Gunasekara – Thurstan College, Colombo

6. D. Sandunika Palihakkara – Sujatha Vidyalaya, Matara

6. A. R. Abhayadeepa Madarasinghe – Keerthi Abewickrama Central College, Morawaka
