Three Myanmar fishermen rescued

Three fishermen from Myanmar have been rescued by local fishermen and were handed over to the Navy in Trincomalee last evening.

The fishermen were rescued by a group of local fishermen, when found adrift in the sea after getting caught in a storm.

The rescued fishermen had been sent to the Trincomalee hospital for a medical check up.

The Trincomalee police are conducting further investigations.
