Ministry of Justice and the law enforcing authorities should look at this problem in a different angle. Who is responsible for creating this situation. Poor women coming to the urban area and big cities to sell their bodies with the help of pimps to earn a living and take care of their families. Chronic poverty is the reason for it. There is no economic activities taking place in their respective areas. Let the judiciary look this issue and the future incidents not as an individual problems but as major problems of the society. The society must answer. simply raiding, remanding and producing the vulnerable section of our people to jail and feeding them will not help. Proper action by the higher authorities is required.

In reality prostitution does exist in any society. Indulging in sex is a way of releasing the biological need for men and women particularly for men. Thats why the prostitution is not illegal in the developed countries. The authorities are depriving both men and women with this type restrictions who are not being able to have a partner for some reason due to the economic or social issues. Is it justified that the prostitution is allowed in the star hotels?

Why are the police wasting their time catching poor women trying to earn a living. Why are they unable to catch the bigtime drug smugglers, murderers and bribe takers

One name " Wonder of Asia" and invite 2.5 million tourist to this country building hotels and infrastructure, but those idiots have to understand or comprehend - prostitution is part and parcel of this game of this infrastructure. Hence, if police arrest them, they are in fact dismantling part of that infrastructure. or otherwise - police have to provide them alternative meaningful employment for their decent living without making them go hungry and die in vain.

Most developed countries have legalized prostitution. They are called sex workers. Sexual needs are human. Police should not barge in if consenting adults are seeking the service of sex workers. Laws must surely change to accommodate this.

I cannot understand this obsession with going after prostitutes. They exist because their services are in demand and the profession has been going on from time immemorial. Why the sudden purge, have they stopped paying bribes?
