Submit amendments on 20A by Wednesday: President

President Maithripala Sirisena today informed all party leaders to submit any amendments and proposals to the electoral reforms in writing to the Presidential Secretariat before Wednesday (13) noon.

He said such proposals could also be discussed again.

A special discussion on electoral reforms headed by the President was held at the Presidential Secretariat today with the participation of leaders of all political parties representing Parliament.

The Cabinet paper on electoral reforms presented to the Ministers was also discussed at the meeting among many other proposals submitted on the reforms.
