Slight damage to SL Embassy building in Nepal

The building which houses the Sri Lankan Embassy in Nepal is reported to have suffered minor damages in the latest earthquake in Nepal, the External Affairs Ministry (FAM) said.


It said in a statement that Sri Lankans had already been evacuated from Nepal after the previous earthquake and the remaining embassy officials in Nepal were safe.

“We were able to get in touch with our Embassy in Nepal,” the FAM said. (LSP)
