Prisoner dies in Kalutara cell

A prisoner, convicted for two years imprisonment, had allegedly committed suicide in his cell at Kalutara prison early today, Police said.

The 54-year-old prisoner had been sentenced by the Moratuwa Magistrate last Monday.
