Next door dog distressing US man in Jaffna

A complaint had been lodged with the Jaffna police by an American claiming the growl of the next door dog was distressing him.

The complainant was an American engineer of a water project in Jaffna. He had also complained against the next door rooster.

When the case was taken up in the police, they advised the owners of the dog to remove it before August 5. The owner was a Grama Niladhari. (Priyantha Hewage)

An American attempts to deny a dog's 1st Amendment rights; not to mention the rooster's as well. I think the inhabitants of the north have had enough of their rights taken away already. The Police should have asked the American to move.
