Navy Chief meets Indian Defence Minister
Navy Commander Jayanath Colombage met Indian Minister of Defence A.K. Antony and Indian Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral DK Joshi in India, the Navy said.
Vice Admiral Colombage is on an official visit to New Delhi to attend the 08th International Land, Naval and Internal Homeland Security Systems Exhibition, Defexpo India 2014, held from 06th to 09th February 2014. The biennial event is organized by the Indian Ministry of Defence and the Government of India.
“The Navy Commander has been able to meet and exchange pleasantries with a number of distinguished personnel attending Defexpo. Among them were Indian Minister of Defence, A.K. Antony and Indian Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral DK Joshi,” the Navy said.
