Look at all the anti government Pereras and Silvas who have commented above criticising Mahinda and his government. What were they doing when the Tigers were ruling half the country and killing civilians indiscriminately? Did they open their mouths when JVP killed thousands? Why all the fuss about an Ex CJ who engaged in dubious acts? The Lawyers belong to the opposition and are shameless in defending an ex CJ whom they were very critical when she was first appointed. Do not recognise these hypocrites and a new association should be formed to benefit honest members.

Present CJ had a ceremonial sitting, but there was no ceremonial sitting for the former CJ at all, she was not welcomed by the Bar at all at the point of appointment to the Bench!
