Upul Shantha Sannasgala has been appointed as the UNP organiser for Ratmalana electorate.The relevant letter of appointment was accepted by him recently from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe
Upul Shantha Sannasgala, a popular private Tuition teacher had earned a reputation as a mass media personality. He was offered previously appointments by both the UNP and the SLFP as an electoral organiser which he had declined.

Sananasgala when nominated for Sabaragamuwa PC as chief ministerial post he declined but now consented due to his cunning political vision.
