Mahinda Samarasinghe in the Geneva delegation

Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe, who is the President’s Special Envoy on Human Rights, has been included in the delegation to the UNHRC sessions in Geneva. The delegation will be headed by External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris, the President’s Office said today.

Presidential spokesman Mohan Samaranayake however said the composition of the delegation has not been finalised yet.

The sessions begin on March 3 and end on March 28.

You can also do some shopping for branded items at our expense and repeat those old stories about how they took up Sri Lanka's case. By the way since the composition of the delegation has not been finalized don't forget to include Mr. Muralitheran also. Cheers
