Lankan falls to his death in Dubai
An unidentified Sri Lankan fell to his death from the fourth floor of a residential building in Riqqa, reports Al-Rai daily. When the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a call that an unidentified person was lying in the compound of a building, police and paramedics rushed to the spot and found the man in a pool of blood.
Five people including 2 Iranians, 2 Bangladeshis and an Egyptian - working for a restaurant said the man was a thief and when he sensed he was being watched he attempted to jump, lost his balance and fell. The five people have been detained for interrogation. (Arab News)
