Lankan arrested with illicit fags worth Rs. 8 lakhs

A Sri Lankan man was arrested by the Customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport this morning on charges of illegally importing 400 cigarette cartons worth Rs. 800,000, Customs Spokesman Leslie Gamini said.

Mr. Gamini said the suspect, a resident of Colombo, had arrived from Dubai. The Customs are investigating.  (LSP)
