Lalith Dissanayake is Acting Health Minister

Deputy Minister of Health Lalith Dissanayake was sworn in as the Acting Minister of Health this morning, the Health Ministry said in a news release.

 

He has been serving as the Deputy Health Minister since 2010. The post of Health Minister fell vacant when former Minister Maithripala Sirisena quit the Government to contest as the common opposition candidate.
