Visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry held talks with the Tamil National Alliance leaders today, officials said.

The top US diplomat met with TNA leader R.Sampanthan and several other senior party officials at Kerry's hotel in Colombo.

“Sec. @JohnKerry heard from R. Sampathan, CM Wigneswaran and other TNA leaders on their assessment of reconciliation efforts and road ahead,” Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal tweeted.

Kerry, who is to leave the country today after concluding his brief visit, already held talks with President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and several other government officials.

TNA supported SF not because of appreciating what SF did, but because to defeat MR. Please remember SF was a commander then , so he did what he was asked to do by his masters who employed him. Other reason for the excess , he was antagonized and irritated by the LTTE even to kill him and almost he was dead and later reincarnated because of this foolish and elusive attitude of their own grave digging process directed by stubborn PRABAHARAN.

The socio - economic political problems still remain unresolved between the two major communities of this country since independence to date though it was started with federal and separatist war due to intransigent attitude of Sinhala rulers and leaders attributing the Sinhala masses not to compromise anything with Tamils ,so the tamil representatives should urge the international leaders to resolve. What is wrong in it ?

Sure there should be accountability.When Kerry says to cooperate with the UN,then the UN and the West too must cooperate with Sri Lanka,at least by giving names of the persons who fled before ,during and after the war to seekrefuge abroad.The LTTE and its followers along with the government of Sri Lanka should be responsible for the missing and come to the correct figure.

by all means star with the LTTE.... iam sure we cn get to the genocide issue. who were massacred and displaced from the ltte held areas and the tamil people who were held an a human shield in the last leg of the war and on various times when the ltte were at the loosing end.
