If goods were sold on credit to a customer and not paid its a civil matter. But when goods are issued for a Election campaign and unpaid, it is pure robbing of state funds and amounts to criminal offence and no bail should be given. He should be sentenced to rigorous imprisonment.

He is an Innocent politician and a genuine businessman. All wealth he has now he got from is parents. Ranil is jealous of him and try to punish him for crimes he did as a powerful minister of the previous government. If 2.8m/40k=165 (and 2/2=0) and people accepted that why punish an innocent criminal/?
