Somaratne Dissanayake's latest movie 'Siri Perakum' bagged the special audience award at the Dhaka International Film Festival which ended yesterday.

The film produced by Renuka Balasuriya shattered box office records in Sri Lanka too.

Incidentally, with this award, all the films directed by Somaratne Dissanayake have won international awards.

Somaratne's first international award for his first film 'Saroja' also came as an audience award at the Dhaka International Film Festival.
