Video: Heavy traffic in Town Hall

Heavy traffic has been reported from the Town Hall area due to a protest by Students of the Rajarata University in front of the University Grant Commission (UGC), Ward Place.

Students accused the Higher Education Minister and the other education authorities of failing to find solutions for their grievances.

“We have been campaigning for more than 250 days demanding solutions for our issues but we haven’t received any solution so far,” they said.
   
They also charged the students were being suppressed by the education authorities.
