Fire destroys 22 shops

Twenty two shops were completely destroyed after a fire broke out in a tyre shop in Pundaluoya town yesterday, police said. Police said the fire was occurred in the tyre shop at first and spread to other shops nearby.

Nuwara Eliya fire brigade managed to douse the fire. No injuries reported and the cause for the fire was not revealed yet, police said (CP)
