Video: FCID visits CSN
Officials of the Financial Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) today visited the Carlton Sports Network (CSN) in Battaramulla to conduct investigations regarding the awarding of broadcasting rights to CSN by violating tender procedure, Police Media Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara said.He said several computer hard disk drives, a desktop computer, a laptop and several documents were taken to FCID custody for further investigations,ASP Gunasekara said.
The FCID conducted the search operation after being granted a warrant issued by the Kaduwela Magistrate, he said.
The FCID conducted investigations, which lasted a few hours from 10 a.m., with the help of several computer engineers of the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT). (Chaturanga Pradeep)
