30-hour water cut in Colombo

A 30-hour water cut will be imposed in Colombo from 9.00 a.m. tomorrow to 3.00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon because of an urgent repair to the main pipeline at Maligakanda, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

The water supply to Colombo 1, 2, 3 and 7 to 14 will be disrupted while the water supply to Colombo 4, 5 and 6 will be at a lower pressure. (LSP)

Everytime the same, why they always do this in the weekend when people are home, need water to do laundry and so forth. Do the maintenance in the weekdays!

BUT FOR YOUR NEWS (DM) WE IN COLOMBO WOULD HAVE FACED IMMENSE DIFIICULTIES. WATER BOARD NEVER INFORM US, THEY DO THEIR JOB WITHOUT PROPER PLAN AND NOT CONCERNING THE NEED OF CONSUMERS . A COURT ORDER MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID THE ACT OF THESE FOOLS
