Brothel raided in Nugegoda

Four women, manager and another were arrested in a brothel which had been operating clandestinely in Nugegoda, yesterday by the Mirihana Police.

The suspects are to be produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today.

Police said that brothel had been operating under the guise of an Ayurvedic medical centre for a considerable period of time.

The suspects were from Pelawatta, Kottegoda, Mudalakkuliya, Kaduwela, Haburugala and Yakkala areas, Police said.
