Badulla-Colombo train service at a standstill
The railway service on the Badulla-Colombo track came to a standstill after large rocks had fallen on to the rail track between Demodara and Uduwara last night, the Railway Control Room said.It said the Badulla-Colombo Udarata Menike and the Podimenike were the trains that were affected.
The Control Room said train services from Colombo to Badulla would end their journey at the Bandarawela Railway Station until the tracks were cleared. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
