At least 20 students of Gampola Muslim Maha Vidyalaya have been admitted to the Gampola hospital today, as a result of an alleged allergic reaction, hospital sources said. 18 out of them have been discharged while another two are still in hospital for further treatment.

Other students of Digana Senarathwala Maha Vidyalaya in the Theldeniya Educational Zone also had been admitted to the Menikhinna Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile 7 students of, Athimale Maha Vidyalaya, Siyabalanduwa had been admitted to Athimale Hospital due to similar symptoms. (Suranga Rajanayake, Nayanajeewa Bandara, J.A.L Jayasinghe)
