Airman shoots himself
An Airman, who was serving at a sentry point at the Ratmalana Air Force Base is alleged to have committed suicide by shooting himself for unknown reason, the Police said today.The Police said that the 21-year-old Airman was a resident of Anuradhapura and said the deceased might have shot himself using his service rifle.
“The motive led to the suicide is yet to be established,” the Police said. Mount Lavinia Police are investigating.
