Air Force to send team to verify parts

The Air Force said today that it would send a team of specialists to examine the objects found by fishermen, believed to be parts of an aircraft.

“We will be sending a team of specialists from Colombo to examine them which are lying at the Aluthgama Police Station in order to make a decision,” Spokesman Wing Commander Gihan Senerviratne said.

He said the Aluthgama police had informed that they had found objects similar to aircraft parts in the Aluthgama sea area. (Supun Dias).

All one has to do is look for the part number stamped on the parts. All aircraft parts have a part number stamped on it. Once that is located it very simple to identify what it is and what is was used for and in what model of aircraft.

How can our Air Force determine? Sooner or later they too will send it to experts in Singapore or China for further studies. Before it costs dearly, now itself bring down an expert from EU.
