Women’s T20 World Cup: NZ, SL eye semi-finals in decisive battle
A crucial match in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 will be played today in which New Zealand and Sri Lanka meet in their last Group 1 match with progress to the knockout stages on the line.
If Sri Lankan Women beat the Kiwis today they will join Australia in the semi-finals.
Sri Lankan Women's already won two matches against Bangladesh and South Africa while losing to Australian women in the group.
Australia have become the first team to qualify for the knockout stage of the ICC Women’s T20 World after beating South Africa by six wickets and with 21 balls to spare.
