Woman who was issued 46 warrants arrested in Kadawatha

A 39-year-old woman wanted over financial fraud of more than Rs.20 million had been arrested by the Mirihana Division Crimes Investigation Unit during a raid in Kadawatha today.

Police said the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court had issued 46 warrants against the suspect over financial fraud which she allegedly committed with regard to food packaging.

The suspect woman who is a resident of Suriyagama was handed over to the Mirihana Police.
