Were outsiders being accommodated at Presidential Residences?

The President's Media Division (PMD) has dismissed media reports claiming that outsiders were accommodated at Presidential Residences.

In a statement issued today, the PMD rejected claims published by certain media outlets that 3,089 individuals had been accommodated at Presidential Residences across the country during 2025.

According to the PMD, the figure cited in the reports is inaccurate. It clarified that officers attached to the security services, the President's Media Division, and other official institutions were provided temporary accommodation on various occasions in separate buildings located within the premises of Presidential Residences to meet official operational requirements.

The PMD said that no individual was accommodated inside any Presidential Residence.

It further stated that the officers concerned stayed only in other buildings within the respective premises and not in the Presidential Residences themselves.
