’’Water Supply Disconnection Week’’ programme cancelled: NWSDB

Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that the "Water Supply Disconnection Week" programme, which was scheduled to be carried out from July 13 to 19, 2026, has been cancelled.

The programme was earlier announced for Colombo 1 to 15, Maharagama and Kotte areas.

The Board said all previous announcements regarding the programme are no longer valid.

The NWSDB also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to affected water consumers due to the cancellation.
