Visiting Indian Minister stresses transparency in using Indian disaster assistance



Colombo, Dec. 23 (Daily Mirror) - Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, who met Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today, stressed the need for transparency in using the Indian disaster assistance.

The office of the Opposition Leader said that Premadasa assured that the opposition would do its part to ensure transparency.

The Opposition Leader expressed his gratitude to the Indian Minister for providing a total sum of USD 450 million as disaster assistance.
