Upcountry train services limited to Rambukkana

Colombo, November 27 (Daily Mirror) - Train services to the upcountry have been disrupted due to ongoing adverse weather, with landslides and fallen trees reported along the railway line between Rambukkana and Badulla.

As a result, trains scheduled to run from Colombo Fort to Kandy and Badulla, as well as 12 services from Kandy and Badulla to Colombo Fort in the morning, have been cancelled.

However, regular train services between Colombo Fort and Rambukkana will continue to operate, authorities confirmed, while efforts are underway to restore full operations once conditions improve.
