US stands ready to support relief efforts in Sri Lanka

Colombo, Nov. 29 (Daily Mirror) - The United States has extended deepest condolences to the people of Sri Lanka as Cyclone Ditwah continues to produce severe weather, flooding, and landslides.

The Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the Department of State Tommy Pigott said in a post on X that "We mourn the loss of life and are grateful to those working tirelessly to provide critical assistance. The U.S. stands ready to support relief efforts in the days ahead"
