UNP set up first hut at ‘GotaGoGama’: Wimal
The first hut in the Galle Face ‘GotaGoGama’ was set up by Ashu Marasinghe of the United National Party (UNP), Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa said today.
He told Parliament that Ranil Wickremesinghe even as the then Prime Minister told international media that tourists should come to Sri Lanka and join protests in the Aragalaya.
The MP said the then Prime Minister Wickremesinghe had asked not to remove the Aragalaya site at the Galle Face.
He said, however, Ranil Wickremesinghe after becoming the President started attacking the Aragalaya.(Ajith Siriwardana)
