UNP decides to work with SJB, others: Wajira

Colombo, Sept. 8 (Daily Mirror) - The United National Party (UNP) has decided to work with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and other Opposition parties, its Chairman Wajira Abeywardena said in a statement today.

“The UNP is ready to enter into a joint programme which will be executed by an all-party committee or according to a similar mechanism,” he said.

The party had a dialogue with the SJB and other parties in the recent past.

“We have also decided to work openly with the SJB,” Abeywardena added.

Just wasting time these misfits! Citizens are aware Both parties are having mostly Misfits who only care for their own interests and always having in-party fights. Some have run various ministries in the past resulting in severe malpractices and corruption. Unless an overhaul is done and young graduates taken, maybe might have chance again in 2030s onwards to run the country. Anyone currently above 40years in both parties can’t be trusted to run SL to bring it to the AI technology levels. Need super strong leadership to move the country forward without the current in-party mayhem. Need to bring the in par with other developed nations within the next 20years.
