Two soldiers arrested over death of woman during raid in Borella

Two soldiers were arrested by the Borella Police after a woman was shot dead when a weapon of a soldier misfired during a raid at Dematagoda last night.

Police said the incident was reported when security forces attempted to take a suspect into custody at Halgahakumbura in Borella.

The 25-year old woman who was injured during the incident died after being admitted to the hospital.

The Borella Police is investigating.(DSB)
