Two more succumb to COVID-19

Two more COVID-19 deaths were reported yesterday (12), pushing the total fatalities to 16,853, the Epidemiology Unit said.

Out of the total deaths, 9,503 are males, while 7,350 are females.

Meanwhile, according to the situation report, 10 more positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

In addition, a total of 50 COVID-19 patients are currently receiving treatment, while 13 patients were discharged during the last 24 hours. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

Therefore, the media must avoid spreading news about this flu, though, some Doctors might get interested in media stunt. Now our poor Island needs good news, not protests and security alerts to freighten the visitors.
