This is due to sheer stupidness. I have seen this rail crossing which has a gate and still people keep crossing seeing the trains approaching. The deserve it.

Here's a Country write-off 461 billion rupees by the government because of eternally loss making national airline!!! However, don't want to spend couple of billion rupees to build fully automated Railway Crossing Gates @ every Railway Crossings and Save some Lives!!?? Huh!!

Most of the time, there is an abnormal gate close time for trains which makes pedestrians un-easy and tend to find short cuts or violate the ground rules. we need efficient system than today to rail gates open
