Colombo, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Supreme Court held that certain sections of Clauses 17 and 18 of the Money Laundering Amendment Bill are inconsistent with the Constitution and could be approved by a special majority (two thirds majority), Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne announced in Parliament today.

However, he said the particular clauses could be passed by a simple majority if the amendments recommended by courts are made.
