Trump says Iran being ‘demolished’ as Gulf attacks continue

Aljazeera - US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran is being “demolished ahead of schedule and at levels people have never seen before,” asserting that the country now has “no air force, no air defence” and that its air capabilities are “gone.”

In response, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, warned that Iranian forces are “waiting” for any potential US ground invasion and are prepared to “disgrace those corrupt American officials by killing and capturing thousands.”

Since Saturday, at least 1,230 people have reportedly been killed in combined US and Israeli strikes on Iran. The semi-official Fars News Agency reported that two schools in Parand, southwest of Tehran, were hit by missiles.

Meanwhile, Iran has continued targeting Gulf countries, including the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, while Tel Aviv came under a combined drone and missile attack late Thursday night.

Authorities are urging residents across the region to remain vigilant as the conflict unfolds. A live tracker is available for the latest casualty figures.
