Trains, buses back on service

All trains and buses have resumed their operations as usual from this morning.

The railway department said the trains were on line after 8.00 am today.

Accordingly, trains from other provinces have already commenced their journey towards Colombo Fort.

Meanwhile, the strike launched by the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) trade unions was called off and resumed operations from this morning. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
