Three killed in Amithirigala road accident

Colombo, Feb. 8 (Daily Mirror) - Three people were killed in a road accident in Amithirigala, Thalduwa, this afternoon (08) when a car collided with a motorcycle, police said.

Following the collision, the car veered off the road and plunged into a precipice, while the motorcycle caught fire.

All those injured in the incident were rushed to the Avissawella Hospital. Police said that three individuals succumbed to their injuries, while two others are currently receiving treatment.

Police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
