President Ranil Wickremesinghe said Sri Lanka's access to the growing Indian market as well as the opening of African markets cannot be disrupted and should not be disrupted by big power, rivalry or conflict.

The President has said this while delivering a special statement at a discussion with Harvard University, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.

President invited the youth, including those in the diaspora, to play an active role in creating a better Sri Lanka and promised to include their ideas and recommendations in the country's roadmap for the future.

How can our access to the Indian markets be curtailed except by India? Africa has lower labor costs than ours, so rather sill to expect export to there. Ranil is living grandiose dreams while wasting much of the IMF on paying Indians loans. None of those were made public, like time-frame and interest. Now it is obvious why India were keen for IMF loan, so they can force us to use that money to repay their credit line loan.
