Sri Lankans should strive for full freedom which is yet to be achieved: Cardinal
Colombo, Feb. 2 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lankans should strive for full freedom, which is yet to be achieved through strengthening the rule of law, Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malclom Ranjith said today.
“Rule of law is essential to achieve complete freedom,” Cardinal Ranjith said in a special message for Independence Day.
“The present situation in the country indicates that Sri Lanka has failed to achieve much when it comes to economic, political, social and cultural fields,” he said.
