Colombo, March 6 (Daily Mirror) - The Railways Department has assigned special train services on the main line and the northern line to facilitate the movements of commuters during the upcoming long weekend.
They said one train is scheduled to leave for Badulla from Colombo Fort at 7.30 a.m. on Friday (8).
On March 10, a train is scheduled to leave for Colombo Fort from Badulla at 745 a.m.
Another train service will operate from Colombo Fort to Badulla at 7.30 p.m. on March 7, 8 and 10.
Meanwhile, another train service will operate from Badulla to Colombo Fort at 5.20 p.m. on March 7, 8 and 10.
Several train services are scheduled to operate on the northern line between Anuradhapura and Kankesanthurai (KKS) during the long weekend.
Accordingly, special train services are scheduled to operate on March 8, 9 and 10 between Anuradhapura and KKS at 6 a.m., and another train is scheduled to operate between KKS and Anuradhapura at 4.30 p.m. on the said days.
