Southern Province Governor Bandula Harischandra has passed away this morning (16) while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
He was 62 at the time of his death.
Harischandra, a respected public servant, had served as a senior administrative officer and held several key positions during his career, including ministerial secretary, district secretary, and head of multiple government institutions.
