South Korea pledges support to Sri Lanka

South Korea has pledged its assistance to Sri Lanka for several programmes including employment generation for young people and reinforcement of employment cooperation.

The assurance was given by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in a letter to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.

The Korean President has pledged his country's assistance in developing programmes to generate employment for young people, the reinforcement of employment cooperation & signing the Agreement of Cooperation on Climate Change and enhance their trade and investment collaboration through the Trade and Investment Promotion Framework (TIPF).
