Singapore company donates USD 10,000 to ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ fund
A Singapore-registered company and supplier to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has contributed USD 10,000 (approximately LKR 30 million) to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund to support relief efforts for those affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
The President's Media Division (PMD) said the donation came in response to an appeal by the CPC to its global suppliers to assist in the country’s rebuilding efforts.
The cheque was recently handed over to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, by CPC Chairman Janaka Rajakaruna and Managing Director Dr. Mayura Nettikumara.
