Seven students hospitalised after tasting chemical substance in science lab

Colombo, Oct. 7 (Daily Mirror) - Seven Grade 7 students from a school in Dambulla were admitted to the Dambulla Hospital due to a chemical exposure today.
Five male students and two female students are among those hospitalised.
Police said that monkeys had entered the school science lab during the recent school holidays and had rummaged through the apparatus in the lab.
The students had tasted some reddish substance scattered on the floor, mistaking it for chilli powder.
The students were admitted to the Dambulla Hospital after falling sick.
