Colombo, April 12 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is to take disciplinary action against MP Prof. G.L. Peiris and others who have signed an agreement with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
These MPs were elected to Parliament on the SLPP ticket. Later, they defected from the party and sat in opposition. A week ago, they signed an electoral pact with the main opposition, the SJB.
The SLPP, at its executive committee meeting, decided to initiate disciplinary action against them for signing an agreement with another party while being members elected on its ticket at the last election.

SLPP is almost dead . Waiting for the election day for its funerals. What do you want more . People of this country are not politically naïve now as they had been before . You wait and see . The voters of this country are fools. And if they want to punish Pohottuwa for things they did over 2 years ago for the sake of punishing, one can't wish for a bigger fool. If the people can look at the present and vote, instead of looking at their history then the country will develop by leaps and bounds.

Don't make us laugh. Even SLPP will not loose anything. Only SJB will loose a lot admitting the good for manipulating set of stragglers who doesn't have a place to go.

No difference as there is no discipline in the party either way! Soon, all will be bumped off by the people for causing so much misery and suffering to the average person due to greed and mismanagement. Better to dissolve the party and move on to do some good karma before your life tenure expires. Lots of people need medical attention and by supporting them, will take off a burden from their shoulders.
